A group of Fitchburg residents have donated their time and resources to assembling quilts to the Project Blanket organization. The quilts, which will total around 100 in volume, will be donated to veterans at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. on Memorial Day.

The Friends of the Fitchburg Public Library have announced that they want art for the 150th birthday celebration of the library.
