The popular farmer’s market in Derry, NH plans to move its operations inside for the colder months ahead. With only one more week at the Pocket Park on the corner of Broadway and Manning Street, the market will move inside on SUnday, November 7. The indoor market will be located at Veterans Hall, 31 West Broadway.
Shoppers have one more week to stock up on the locally grown produce of the season, including corn, squash, beans and apples. The last day for the outdoor market is Wednesday, October 13.
Participating vendors in the farmer’s market in Derry include J&F Farms of Derry, Oliver Merrill and Sons Farms of Londonderry, Kittredge Farms of Derry, and Tuckaway Farms of Lee.
The winter market is planned to run through March 20,2011 on the first and third Sundays of the month. Winter market hours are noon to 4 p.m.
