The Boston Globe annually recognizes companies in Massachusetts in its Top Places to Work publication. To qualify for the Boston Globe’s Top Places to Work, a company is required to have over 100 employees in Massachusetts. The rankings are derived from employee feedback, and they survey elements including company leadership, opportunities for growth and values and ethics, among other criteria.
It is inspiring to learn of the organizations on the Top Places list that are right here in our community. We are so happy to share that Lowell General Hospital has been honored as one of the 2010 Top Places to Work in Massachusetts by The Boston Globe. This is the second year that Lowell General Hospital will receive the honor of holding a position on the list. Out of 25 large companies, Lowell General ranked an impressive fourth place.
“I am proud that our employees have named us as an employer of choice. As the cornerstone of our healthcare organization, employee satisfaction is a top priority at Lowell General. We believe that a happy employee, who feels empowered to do their best, provides an exceptional level of service,” shares President and Chief Executive Officer of Lowell General, Normand E. Deschene. “This makes our hospital a great place to work and an even better place to receive health care.”
Lowell General Hospital was also the highest ranked hospital in all of Massachusetts. For having a diverse workforce, it was ranked fourth highest and eighth in the state for providing employees with career growth opportunities.
We at Enterprise Bank would like to congratulate every business on the list, from small to large, for their great achievements.
