YP Connect is a very ambitious group of young professionals who are connected to the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce. The group is comprised of goal-driven and achievement-oriented young men and women who will most certainly become the area’s leading business people of tomorrow. The intention of this group is to connect professional young adults with like minded individuals in order to exchange ideas, share unique experiences and support each other in the process of maturing in the business world.
In order to raise funds and promote membership, YP Connect is excited to announce the first event in their annual speaker series. The series is designed to provide an entertaining and valuable experience for its members, prospective members and their guests. The inaugural event will be held at the Holiday Inn Boxborough Woods, located at 242 Adams Place in Boxborough, MA, on March 3, 2011. The evening will kick off with networking and cocktails beginning at 5:30 p.m., and the first speaker will take the stage at 6:30 p.m.
The first two guest speakers to grace the stage for YP Connect will be Jeff St. Laurent and Michael Fallman. Mr. St. Laurent is a motivational speaker who has transformed his life through physical fitness, proper nutrition, and the power of mind and spirit. He is the founder of Fitness 3 Personal Training and has spoken at the Nike Headquarters in Oregon, as well as Global Fitness Centers, which operate throughout Massachusetts.
Following a career as a successful partner in a powerful downtown Boston law firm, Michael Fallman teamed up with an old friend to follow his life-long dream of opening a British pub style restaurant. The British Beer Company has been a tremendous success and is currently operating in 10 locations throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has experienced many ups and downs along the way and has some great stories and advice to share with the audience.
YP Connect provides young professionals with the opportunity to promote their business and educate others on how to form connections, develop confidence, create networks and build a better a business. And above all else, YP Connect strives to promote the importance of being involved in the community.
