The Chelmsford Women of Today will host a bowl-a-thon at Pawtucket Boulevard’s Brunswick Lanes in Lowell on Sunday, March 13. The event will be dedicated to raising money and awareness about domestic violence and ways to prevent it.
Participants will enjoy a fun afternoon of team bowling, raffles and prizes. A Boston Bruins team jersey signed by all of the players will be among the items raffled off. The proceeds will be donated to Alternative House and local domestic-violence programs.
A pre-registration fee of $55 per team will be required and due on Saturday, Feb. 26. The pre-registration includes three strings of bowling and shoes. Each team will need five bowlers. At the event, a minimum sponsorship amount of $50 per bowler, or $250 per team, will be collected.
Each team must complete registration and sponsorship forms, which are available here. To find out more about the Chelmsford Women of Today, please contact Kathy at 978-256-8592, through e-mail at cobch@mawt.org or visit their website at www.cwotma.org.
