Northern Essex Community College will be offering “College for a Day” from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Behrakis One-Stop Student Services Center on campus, located at 100 Elliott Street in Haverhill. This free event will provide insight and advice about the options and benefits that Northern Essex Community College can offer.
“College for a Day” will allow prospective students to sit in on hour-long classes, which include Journalism II, Human Biology, Accounting, Introduction to Early Childhood Education and more. Academic advisors will be available, as well as representatives from the Enrollment, Admissions and Financial Aid offices to answer any questions.
Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. but interested patrons may arrive at anytime before 2:30 p.m. The final block of classes begins at 1:00 p.m. While outside of the classroom, attendees can take part in information sessions, campus tours, and the Spring Jam, which will be a two-hour forum from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for current students to voice their perspectives on attending Northern Essex Community College.
