Community Kayak and Canoe Tour of the Nashua River on May 7


Are you interested in canoeing or kayaking down the Nashua River and seeing the majesty of the flourishing flora and fauna first-hand? The Ayer-Shirley Community Education program is sponsoring a tour on Saturday, May 7. The morning will start at 9 a.m. and offer a relaxing 4 – 5 mile trip.

The tour will feature several different aspects of the burgeoning river wildlife, including beaver, heron, swans and more. The trip will be guided and feature mild instruction, including river safety and basic paddling techniques to help better traverse the Nashua River.

To participate in the kayak and canoe tour, registration forms are required in advance. Registration may be mailed or hand-delivered to the address below:
