Lowell Spinners Partner with Lucy’s Love Bus on July 20

The family is in for a real treat this July. The Lowell Spinners, Boston Red Sox single-A affiliate, have partnered with Lucy’s Love Bus, an Amesbury-based non-profit group that provides comfort and care to children with cancer, for a truly special event. On Wednesday, July 20, Lucy’s Love Bus will be at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, the Spinners home field. They will introduce the audience to the wonderful benefits they provide children with cancer.

Lucy’s Love Bus will be featured on the jumbo-tron, showing off its newly re-designed Love Bus and rounding the bases – all for a great cause! Tickets to attend Wednesday’s event are only $25 and include admission to Wednesday’s game, a Lucy’s Love Bus t-shirt, a Lucy’s Love Bus bracelet and the excitement of the Spinners game against the Vermont Lake Monsters. Only 100 tickets are available and are expected to sell out quickly. All profits will be donated to Lucy’s Love Bus and its therapeutic services.

Lucy’s Love Bus Integrative Therapies Project makes an impact by transporting children with cancer to their care facilities and providing the money necessary to afford these services. To balance out costly medical procedures, Lucy’s Love Bus offers to pay for such alternative healing as acupuncture, meditation, massage, Reiki, equine therapy, tai chi, art, music and dance therapies. These care services provide immeasurable relief and enjoyment for children that they serve.

Tickets for Wednesday’s event can be purchased through the Lucy’s Love Bus website on the Lowell Spinners event page.
