Kelley Library to Host Salem’s Got Talent on August 3

Are you an aspiring singer? Can you juggle or perform magic? Does your comedy act bring down the house? Take your talent to the Kelley Library, located at 234 Main Street in Salem, on Wednesday, August 3, for the third annual Salem’s Got Talent show. Students will be tasked with wowing the crowd with any particular talent, with the top performers being awarded several fantastic prizes.

Students between the ages of 12-19 are encouraged to participate, although the talent show is not limited to these ages. The show is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will be held in the Beshara Room. This event is free to attend and will surely be an impressive night of skill and wonder.

Students will be ranked by a panel of judges, which will include library staff, student judges and third parties. The top five performers will be awarded prizes, including iTunes gift cards and tickets to Canobie Lake Park. Last year, Salem’s Got Talent featured over 30 performers, and organizers are anticipating similar numbers this year.

If your son or daughter is interested in performing at this year’s Salem’s Got Talent, they are encouraged to pre-register for the event by contacting Cathy Cloutier at 603-898-7064 or via email at ccloutier@kelleylibrary.org.
