On Saturday, September 17, come out for the last Saturday of the summer and celebrate the 22nd Annual Derryfest. Scheduled from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Derryfest will provide a full day of live entertainment, local vendor booths, games, crafts, prizes and much more! Derryfest will take place at MacGregor Park, located behind the Derry Public Library at 64 East Broadway in Derry.
Musical acts and dance numbers will be featured on the main stage throughout the day. Unique acts, such as the Wildlife Encounters Zoo, the traveling act of the Granite State Zoo, will bring a variety of animals to Derryfest for children to discover. There will also be a special MIA/POW ceremony at 12 p.m. for veterans. Your favorite local merchants will have booths located throughout MacGregor Park, offering products, activities and more. This year’s Derryfest will surely have something everyone!
Live music for Derryfest will be provided by the Windham Flute Ensemble, The Bel Airs, Mike & Anne’s Magic Rainbow Band, Stagecraft and the event’s closing act, a performance by local favorite, Souled Out Show Band. Performances will include sets from the award-winning Red Star Twirlers, Dance Progressions, Zumba, the NH Academy of Dance and the Derry Dance Center.
Parking and shuttles will be provided at the Derry School District Admin Office, located at 19 South Main Street, Fireye Inc., located at 3 Manchester Road, and Nutfield Professional Building, located at 44 Birch Street. Although this year’s Derryfest is jam-packed, vendor space is still available. Interested parties should email Derryfest organizers at firstname.lastname@example.org for a booth application.
