Join fellow Westford citizens as they support local schools for this fun, Halloween event! On Sunday, November 6, the Westford Education Foundation will host its Ninth Annual Walk for Education Halloween Parade. Costumes are encouraged as parade-goers march from the Westford Common, along Main Street, to the Abbot School, located at 23 Depot Street in Westford.

Participants are asked to arrive by 12:30 p.m. for registration and check-in, and the parade will begin at 1 p.m. Free trick-or-treat bags will be provided for the first 75 registrants. At the end of the parade, all walkers will be invited to a Halloween party, stocked with free food, drinks, game, raffles, music and more.

Tickets are $15 per person and are due at registration. At the event, pizza and raffle tickets will be available for purchase in the Abbott Cafeteria. There is also a contest for students. The class with the most paid registrations for the 2011 Walk for Education Halloween Parade (a minimum of 12 registrations per class is required) will win a pizza party for their class, as well as two $50 gift certificates for their teacher!
