The 3rd Annual Icicle Ball Fundraiser will be held on February 11 from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Leominster. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Leominster High School’s Band trip to an event at Disney World in March of 2013, which they were specifically invited to attend.
Currently, the Leominster High School Band needs to raise an estimated $100,000 to perform both onstage and in a parade through the Magic Kingdom. Last year’s Icicle Ball attracted almost 280 people. Cocktails will be served at 5:30 and will be followed by dinner at 7 and dancing from 8:30 to 11. Entertainment will be provided by the Leominster High School Jazz Band, and a silent auction with a cash bar will be available.
