Herbey’s Harem Relay for Life Team will be holding a $10 prom dress sale for Cinderella’s Closet in Fitchburg, MA at the Fitchburg Knights of Columbus. All proceeds from the dress sale will benefit the relay team in their effort to raise funds for cancer research. All shoppers will be eligible to win gift certificates to local hair and nail salons for their prom experience.
Relay for Life is sponsored by the American Cancer Society to raise money for cancer research and treatment. The event involves hundreds of teams who have pledged to raise money for the American Cancer Society and walk a track or course with their teammates in an overnight walking relay. Relay for Life events take place across the nation at high schools and parks, and more than 3.5 million individuals participate each year. The American Cancer Society donates money to assist in the cost of treatment, transportation to appointments and college scholarships for both patients and survivors.
