Join the Westminster Historical Society on Saturday, March 17 from 1 until 3 PM for the 2012 Maple Sugaring event. Located at 259 West Princeton Road in Westminster, MA, this event is free and open to the public, and families are encouraged to bring their children and share in this spring event that is great for all ages. Ed Snyder, a maple syrup aficionado, will be on hand to show visitors how maple syrup is made in the sugar shack by his house, and all who attend can sample fresh maple syrup on ice cream.
The Westminster Historical Society was founded in 1921 and is located in the heart of North Center MA and is committed to actively saving the rich history of the town. Dedicated to collecting, interpreting and preserving the town history, the society makes all information discovered accessible to the public. It is a non-profit organization of members, and all those with a love of history are welcomed to join in membership.
