Join the Fitchburg Girl Scouts for their fashion show at the Fitchburg Senior Center at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 18. The event will feature a traditional flag ceremony, skits and a modeling show of vintage Girl Scout uniforms from the past 100 years in honor of their centennial year. Guests of the event will have a chance to enjoy a rousing rendition of the Girl Scout song, delicious refreshments and an air of camaraderie and excitement.
The Girl Scouts of America is a nationwide organization that brings girls together in a spirit of service as they nurture confidence, courage and character. Participants are educated in a fun-filled, extracurricular environment, which over time will create better community citizens for the future. The Fitchburg Girl Scouts encourage girls to discover the rewarding power of fun, friendship and teamwork, while building leadership qualities. Serving over 200 girls in grades k-12, the Fitchburg Girl Scouts is a community-oriented organization that provides a constant force of good.
