Concert and Motorcycle Ride for Veterans in Lowell on July 28

Veterans Assisting Veterans Concert

Enjoy a day of great company, fabulous music and the infectious spirit of patriotism in support of our honored veterans on Saturday, July 28. This two-part event from Veterans Assisting Veterans (VAV) features a staged motorcycle ride, which will begin at Hanscom Airforce Base and end at Lowell Memorial Auditorium where guests can enjoy a fabulous concert with world-class music beginning at 7 PM. With musical guests like The James Montgomery Band & Friends, Skunk Baxter, Ayla Brown from American Idol and many more, this exciting event is sure to be fun for the entire family. Some of the sponsors for this event include Enterprise Bank and The Discovery Communications Group.

VAV is a one-of-a-kind local non-profit organization created by Vietnam veterans and designed to do exactly as their name implies – help our honored military veterans and their families. The organization holds numerous fundraising events such as motorcycle rallies and donates all proceeds to provide monetary assistance for our veterans. Running their operation for their own motorcycles, VAV and Dennis Mochella, the driving force behind the organization, donate every cent raised directly to their three main causes, which include Iraq & Afghanistan War Widos, American Verterans with Brain Injuries and the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial.

Tickets for the VAV concert event are available for $29, $39 or $75 for meet-and-greet with the musicians. All proceeds will go directly towards VAV’s causes for our veterans. For more information, please call (978) 454-2299 with any questions. To purchase tickets, please visit the Lowell Memorial Auditorium website.
