Sunday October 28th, 2012 is Lowell General’s annual Taste of the Town Event. Once again the Lowell General Hospital Auxiliary http://www.lowellgeneral.org/go/about-lgh/ways-to-give/volunteer-services/hospital-auxiliary presents its much anticipated annual Taste of the Town, gathering restaurants from around Greater Lowell for an evening of tasting and fun. The event will be taking place on Sunday, October 28th at the UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center in downtown Lowell. The festivities begin with a raffle basket preview starting at 4:30 p.m. Funds raised benefit the patients and services of Lowell General Hospital.
The 2012 Taste of the Town will showcase long-standing participants as well as newcomers to the event, including Bianco’s Catering, The Capital Grille, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Cavaleiro’s Restaurant, Centro Restaurant and Bar, Cobblestones, Frederick’s Pastries, Gibbet Hill Grill, I Dream of Jeanne Cakes, L’Andana Restaurant, Moonstones, Morrison Healthcare, Napa East, Ricardo’s Café Trattoria, Rufina’s, Sodexo, Two Chefs are Better than One, and UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center.
In addition to the popular raffle basket showcase, there will also be a live auction. A luxurious holiday weekend stay at the Michelangelo Hotel in NYC has been generously donated by John and Linda Chemaly of Trinity EMS. This fabulous weekend will go to the highest bidder of the evening.
