Book Signing Wednesday at our Pelham Branch Today at Noon

Our VP Branch Relationship Manager Karen Fournier, Tricia Finnegan our
Branch Service Manager and team are so excited to have our dear friend Titus Plomaritis in our Pelham branch singing his new book this Wednesday December 19, 2012 from Noon til 2 pm.

Many who read this will know Titus. Some won’t. This will be a great opportunity to see a man with quite a story. Titus’ local ties began in Lowell MA and now in Pelham NH. The Merrimack Valley knows him for what the Lowell Sun called, “The Most Exciting Football Game Ever.”

Dennis Whitton of the Lowell Sun wrote,, “In this city, Dr. Titus Plomaritis is widely known by students of Lowell High School football history as the 5-foot, 5-inch scatback who scored all 20 points in the 1948 Thanksgiving Day game against Lawrence.

Lowell won the dramatic game, 20-19, when Plomaritis scored with 4 seconds left and kicked the winning extra point, capping an undefeated season for second-year coach Ray Riddick, who himself would become the greatest Lowell football legend of them all.”

Titus, now 83 wrote his autobiography that ties back to local roots including the big football game, favorite pastimes like going to Eliot’s Famous Hot Dogs and Bishops restaurant, his dear friends the Demoulas family, his long term career as a chiropractor, his family, his friends and his foundation.

He wrote the book with the help of Sam Weisberg, former Editor of the Lowell Sun. It is 600 pages and 250 photos. It will bring back fond memories, keep you entertained and make you chuckle.

Titus is a gentleman, a golfer, a family man, a healer and a friend to say the least. Come on by and see for yourself!
